Job Overview
The Content & Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for managing and updating product listings across various e-commerce platforms, including Shopify and other online marketplaces. This role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable handling large sets of data, performing quality checks, and following standard operating procedures to maintain high data standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Listing Management
- Create, update, and manage product listings on Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure product descriptions, images, pricing, and other content are accurate and up-to-date.
- Optimize product listings for SEO to enhance visibility and drive sales.
- Data Entry and Management
- Handle data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel and CSV source files, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain organized records of product information and data files.
- Use bulk upload tools and methods for efficient data management.
- Data Quality Assurance
- Perform regular quality checks on product listings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in data entries.
- Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures for data entry and management.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure product information aligns with brand standards and marketing strategies.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve data-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving data management processes.
